Kenneth Sustin is a founding partner of Sustin, Bartell & Fitzgerald. Before starting the firm in 1990, he was a tax partner in the international accounting firm Coopers & Lybrand. Ken is a graduate of Ohio University, 1966, with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and is a certified public accountant in the State of Ohio, Ken is also a graduate of Cleveland-Marshall Law School, 1970, with a Juris Doctor Degree, is a member of The Cleveland Bar Association and licensed to practice law in the state of Ohio. The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio.
His experience in over 50 years of practice covers a broad range of business planning and advice regarding closely held businesses related to retailing, real estate, manufacturing and professional services. This includes matters involving the acquisition, disposition and/or financing of business ventures. His involvement in these matters includes the valuation and negotiation for the sale or acquisition of businesses, inclusive of terms and conditions for purchase agreements, employment contracts and non-compete agreements.
